My style can be described as “casual modern.” I’m an easy-going girl who loves beautiful design. I’m fascinated with mixing history and personality, My grandma’s vintage cookie jar is currently filled with authentic, colorful recycled African beads. I love to incorporate comfort and style into all of my spaces. I truly believe everything in a space should be personal; touched, used, and enjoyed.
An Acworth native, I grew up loving the metro-Atlanta area and it’s classic southern charm. After heading further south and completing my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design I began to pursue my passion for designing for real people with real families. For me, the design process is all about the relationships I build with my clients. My process is interactive and collaborative, seamlessly integrating each client’s needs with a fresh, fun, and functional vision. Whether starting from scratch or breathing new life into a tired room, I strive for each project to end with a personal, comfortable and enjoyable space that truly reflects my client and how they live in their home.
When I’m not busy mixing patterns and having coffee with clients you can find me at the park with my two crazy yellow labs, Lilly and Layla, and my sweet husband, Ben. I spend my rainy days at antique markets and art galleries, and believe that ice cream is the very best way to end any afternoon. I'm lucky enough to spend everyday designing spaces that change how people live in their homes, and I'd love the chance to chat with you about how we can work together to create a space that is perfect for you!
When I am not running around shopping unique antique markets, navigating construction sites, or meeting with my sweet clients you can usually find me daydreaming about the place that truly has my heart.
After my first mission trip to Haiti I was immediately connected to the beautiful people. They have a hope and a light that is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
I am so blessed to have teamed up with Hosanna Helping Hands, a Christian organization that has built a church, school, and a new group home in Croix de Bouquets. The 141 children who are now in school are receiving 2 meals a day, a free education, and accesses to support are a beautiful testament to the light this organization is bringing to the Croix de Bouquets community.
As we prepare to open the doors to our new group home this year I am happy to be designing, collecting, and organizing the pieces that will go into making this a safe and life-changing place for 15 orphaned children. Coming home to a roof over their head, running water, a bed, and 3 meals a day will be a new experience for many of these children and I am so thankful that I get to be a part of this beautiful blessing.
